Entry 5 (Oct. 1): It wouldn’t be a #graitour without any Gra’it Grappa now, would it? The halfway mark of the trip saw our winners touring the Conselve-based distillery that makes our delicious grappa. From the pomace room to the distillation room, the winners were treated to a step-by-step walkthrough of the modern distillation processes that give Gra’it its characteristically smooth and palatable flavor (with accompanying tastings, of course!). Elvio Bonollo and Luca Fabris were amazing teachers, and their knowledge and passion for grappa truly shone throughout every step of this fantastic tour.
